Williamsburg Kids Weekend: April 9 & 10

Join us this coming Saturday and Sunday, April 9th & 10th, as the cool creative folks behind local arts organization CAMP (Creative Arts & Music Programs) take over to produce Artists Are People In Your Neighborhood, a series of performances, activities, events and entertainment bringing some of Brooklyn’s best (and Williamsburg locals) to the market.

We’ve always been fans of seeing kids come to the market all wide-eyed and curious. And many of our vendors enjoy the opportunity to share what they make, collect or do with the next generation. While the market bustle will go on as usual, this is a chance for the 4-foot and under set to also come and experience some of the Artists & Fleas market family.

Performances and activities will include:

  • Audra Rox & Music for Aardvarks
  • PS 257 Magnet School
  • STREB Action Studio
  • Sarah Geller’s Suzuki Studio
  • games, music, performances, activities & more

The fun and madness begins at 11am and runs until 5pm both days, inside and outside the market. Make sure to check our Facebook page for more info and updates this week.

  1. [...] A lot going on this weekend beginning with our latest weekend market event, this time in collaboration with the cool dudes who run Williamsburg’s CAMP. It’s called Artists Are People In Your Neighborhood, a fitting description considering who we are and what we do. It’s a 21st century take on the meet-and-greet. Marching bands & drum lines, live shows, performances, activities and a whole mess of fun for everyone ages 3-63. Deets here. [...]
