Fly day across the board.  If only we had spotted Irina’s fabo derby-worthy skates while flying our kite in McCarren Park while we were jacked up on coffee from the Kickstand kids, we’d have gone to the moon and back by now. Lucky for us, those skates are still available come Saturday.

CandyBella Jewelry is much more than a name. One look at what Kati P. has created and it’s hard not to want to pick up everything and play with it like a kid in a toy store. And there’s good reason for feeling that way. CandyBella takes its inspiration from the things that delighted creator Kati P. as a child, things from the 1980s, and a newfound infatuation with Japanese street fashion. In her own words: anything pink, sparkly or unusual is most likely something I can use in my jewelry – I started using my Grandma’s vintage jewelry and my 1980s toy collection.

It could very well be that with Gawker's help, this might be the last weekend of the hipster making way for a newly minted term of affection for that person who knows so much venom from the snarky pop social climbers critics. Time Out NY gives some nice shout-outs to 2 market faves embarking on the next stage of their indie journeys in this week's magazine. Tracie's Brooklyn Charm gets top billing with news of her opening this weekend (see it also on Refinery29, Racked and Brokelyn). Not to worry, she'll still be holding court every Saturday & Sunday at the market. Andrew Clanger also gets some love with Any Old Iron and the raucous he's causing down on the LES. Giddyup kids!

Stache's Jennifer Mielke is sitting on a goldmine of vintage goodies and it shows. This past weekend, Stache expanded the already delightfully curated collection of clothes, accessories and household knick-knacks to include a lot more for the home. Big and small, planned purchase or impulse grab, make Stache a part of your weekend stop as you spin through the 'hood or around the market.

Just in time for Spring, design house Secret Tongues outfits the masses with smart, suggestive and downright cool shirts, hoodies, tanks and more that draw upon a universal language of design without limits. Longtime Artists & Fleas market champion Tracie Howarth and Epoch Beads takes the jewelry-making and DIY concept that she has been pioneering for the past couple of years at the market to a full-time established retail space on Bedford Avenue. Brooklyn Charm officially opens on March 26th (see right) but those of you who want to get in on the action and get a sneak peek can do so starting tomorrow, March 19th.

Brooklyn Charm will be offering "how to" classes, an amazing selection of vintage and new supplies, ETSY consultations and more.
