Fly day across the board.  If only we had spotted Irina’s fabo derby-worthy skates while flying our kite in McCarren Park while we were jacked up on coffee from the Kickstand kids, we’d have gone to the moon and back by now. Lucky for us, those skates are still available come Saturday.

Puja Chodha, creative director and designer of mulmul couldn’t have asked for a more pitch-perfect day to break out her exquisite collection of Summer whites than this weekend’s Market in McCarren. The light was right. The breeze was cool. And the crowds were totally game for some of these ethereal fineries – pre or post their Williamsburg Open 2010 game play. We may just call mulmul our own good luck charm and see if we can get a few more gorgeous days out of her before the scorching Summer begins and it’s time to jump in the pool.

The answer to the rhetorical question above this weekend is: A LOT.

peachykeane is proof positive that what's delicious, fetching and touch-worthy is that much more exquisite when it's worn – as in worn on the body (above, right). Artist Ilana Keane has a wizard's touch in making glass shine in such a way that it feels as though it ought to be considered a precious metal as good as gold. Georgette Johnson brings true artisanship to her work in creating handmade, one-of-a-kind English bridle belts. Each is made to order and uses brass folding hoof picks – originally used by riders to clean their horses' hooves on the trails! – as a buckle. Super real deal stuff that are made to keep your pants on strong. Saturday, Indoor Artist & Designer Market, 12-8pm.

Don't forget that the Market in McCarren finishes the season tomorrow (Saturday) beginning at 10am with tons of entertainment, arts & crafts and coolio merch.

Thank you Mister Postman for bringing the latest TimeOut issue titled The Best 'Hoods. Top nabe anyone? Bueller…Bueller? You guessed it. Williamsburg gets first billing and Artists & Fleas is prominently listed as one of the best places to improve your look (Page 16 y'all). An extra special shout-out goes to Shannon and Astali. W00t! Of course, we've long felt that there's something special about this place. Sniff, sniff.

Ride into Fall this weekend and score some goodies. The Market in McCarren is back for only 2 more weekends. The Indoor Artist, Designer & Vintage markets are humming with coolness, sweetness and coolster finds.

Ahhh…the wondrous beauty of cashmere. Who doesn't love it? Adventures of Jessica Rose  is clearly a cashmere fanatic (above left and right). Making her market debut this weekend, JR works this magical material by hand – dyeing, fashioning and delivering. She makes the trek down to the 'Burg tomorrow from Woodstock where – no doubt – the Fall weather has started and life is cashmere-ready. Pick something up for yourself. Sometimes calling something "handmade" just doesn't quite seem to tell the whole story. So it goes with [A]Symmentric. This keen eye for design finds inspiration in the old (don't we all in some way?) and then is off to the races as designer Boo Youn Choi creates one-of-a-kind pieces complete with edge, attitude and style (pictured, left). Jantar  debuts this weekend at the Market in McCarren. Part of the fab DIY collective{NewNew} York Etsy Street Team, Jantar takes a solo spin coming off an exciting weekend at All Points West earlier this month. These ain't your father's jewels kids. Jantar brings a heavy dose of whim and imagination to the finely-tuned artisan craft of jewelry-making. Glass, stone, enamel ohmy!
