Bag It, Tag It, Take It Home for Dad and You

This is the weekend to pull the Williamsburg trigger and ride, bike, ferry or puddle-jump to the nabe to experience all that its got to give. Father's Day is just the gravy to what's going on. Northside Festival kicks off this evening - a jam-packed festival of music, style, ideas and all things Brooklynian have gestated - and Renegade Craft comes to the Williamsburg Waterfront next weekend. We want to outfit you for these action-packed days. Indulge us and allow us to style you or a hip dad man in your life in 5 easy pieces this weekend. Retrospective-Vintage-Sunglasses-1970s-Williamsburg-BrooklynRetrospective is London-born, Columbia B-school grad Kajal Sanghrajk's love of classic European styles. Her collection specializes in unworn, original vintage sunglasses from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s with some hard-to-find names and styles that are sure to turn heads and start conversations (see photo). This is the stuff of starlets and hunks, no doubt. Saturday & Sunday

Beach-bound or beer-garden-galavanting? It doesn't matter. You still need a bag or mighty man tote for it all. BBK aka Bags in Brooklyn turns the tote it into a talking piece, salvaging scraps of leftover leather from fine fashion houses and taking the Brooklyn-based craftsman approach to their reuse, repurpose, renew line of upcycled bags. Sunday only

Ladies deserve presents too. Peppy Paridae makes earrings using a combination of semi-precious stones and vintage beads in styles that are conceived of locally but look like they are all over the map. Sunday only

Vintage mavens got a serious wake-up when Filippo Gurrieri debuted Sunset Boulevard earlier this month. The man is back and he is not to be messed with. We have yet to determine the source of his touch but there's magic in there - in the racks, in his aura and the merch he is bringing to show you want to know. Saturday & Sunday

Rounding it off is a 3-for-1 threesome that is packing a punch: Cirque is Annie Pham's transcendent and resplendent color obsession turned nail polish line; Arms & Armory is surrealist lover Christina Rodriguez's jewelry homage to Edward Gorey and beyond; and ShelterNYC is A&A's housewares spin-off for scents and home. Saturday only
