We had the privilege of being a stop on the Google Neighborhood Night tour this week -- a curated path through the Meatpacking District for Google employees to explore the local business community, discover hidden gems, and learn about the history of the neighborhood.
Three of our vendors gave hands-on workshops. Juli Raja demonstrated hand-carved wood block printing by having everyone make their own customized wrapping paper. Samantha from Brooklyn Charm showed how to assemble a charm necklace complete with a personalized stamp. Tony from Curated Basics led a " How to Tie a Bowtie" class. It was much fun and so cool to see our vendors in action!
