Senior Director of Brand Marketing

Over the past 19 years, Shop Extraordinary Enterprises’ (“SEE”) heritage brand – Artists & Fleas – has created inspired marketplaces for shoppers looking to discover local designers and for makers seeking to showcase their creations and build their businesses. Shop Extraordinary Enterprises’ launched Regeneration, a market focused on vintage, thrift, and upcycled clothing and fashion, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2021, and acquired the Manhattan Vintage Show (MVS) in 2022 to grow its portfolio of brands dedicated to celebrating and championing creativity, connection and commerce through the creation and promotion of dynamic and innovative retail experiences, marketplaces and shows. 

The Senior Director of Brand Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of brand strategy for SEE’s growing portfolio of brands.  

Success in the role is predicated upon the ability to provide clear, strategic, insightful and differentiated brand marketing plans and oversee the successful implementation of those plans towards building long-term brand equity and achieving long-term profitable growth. Furthermore, this business leader will have an intuitive understanding of how to leverage marketing tools, assets and strategies across channels and across the portfolio to optimize both marketing processes but also to build a strong marketing organization discipline and achieve measurable gains in market share.

The Senior Brand Marketing Director will work in partnership with senior leadership to own and deliver annual brand marketing and brand operating plans that support sales, are aligned with Shop Extraordinary Enterprises brand values and mission, are deemed culturally relevant and innovative, and deliver measurable results. This individual will oversee, manage and build a corporate marketing organization consisting of team members across content, social, performance and in-store/retail marketing.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead brand strategy development
  • Oversee all aspects of marketing functions
  • Partner with Director of Retail to support and amplify merchant marketing initiatives
  • Support Director of Retail to drive revenue growth
  • Develop, inspire and grow a high performance marketing team
  • Manage and procure current and future marketing and creative agencies and consultants and 3rd party vendors (such as PR, paid advertising, performance marketing, etc.)
  • Develop and manage budgets
  • Develop and oversee marketing performance metrics 
  • Research and report on industry trends


Experience requirements include:

  • In-house brand marketing experience; brand management experience a plus
  • Third-party agency management experience
  • Fluency and experience in performance marketing 
  • Budgeting, planning
  • Content strategy creation and development



F/T salaried position. Compensation commensurate with experience and includes an annual end of year discretionary bonus, sales revenue bonus, benefits eligibility (health, 401k) and an opportunity to work with a great team and a growing organization.
