In the days after the 2016 presidential election, New Yorkers from all wakes of life were left alienated, fearful, dejected and bereft of hope and national pride. One artist sought to try and soothe the collective broken spirit of New York. In the greatest equalizing space of the city, Matthew "Levee" Chavez provided an outlet for the people in the form of post-it notes, sharpies, and an enormous amount of wall space.
