We are bursting at the seams with joie de vivre. It’s the feeling we get when the sweet smell of Spring starts to fill the air and from the feel of it yesterday as old-time vendors came back in droves to set up shop in Williamsburg. Take a little stroll down the block to chillax along the Williamsburg waterfront. Walk the catwalk of Bedford Avenue. This weekend is but a taste of what’s to come. Happy happy, joy joy.

Back in the ‘Burg after wintering (and vintage collecting, no doubt), the Greedy Seagull and the Thrifty Fashionista have set up a shop worthy of vintage wunderkinds, pulling out all the stops for those in search of everything from the quaint and dainty design pieces of late century European fashion houses to harder edged thrill pieces.

Talking of taste, relative Artists & Fleas market newcomers Cynthia Rybakoff and Courtney Webb (of Webbedware) are taking their cues from the street and giving the DIYers among us an exquisite experiment in vintage jewelry and supplies with the launch of Mise en Place, a vintage bead bar (pictured above). It’s like Dylan’s CandyBar for the cool kids who dig vintage jewelry on their own terms.

Juli Raja Hand Built is a textile designer with a portfolio that is ethereal and global and style to boot. She’ll be showcasing collections for Home, Kids, Men & Women in addition to her line of scarves – perfect for the early Spring chill and walks around the nabe. Equally grounded and down to earth is Melissa Kelly whose BeInTheMoment line of enamel jewels have the weight of all things earthly with the touch of something a bit more, well, high-fallutin.

Marmalade Vintage and Girls Love Shoes are seasoned vintage kids with a pop-up shop in NoLiTa. This time, they’re spreading the love and bringing their treasure chest of designer classics this side of the river. Saturday only. Don’t miss these cats.

Riffing more on the not-to-miss…check the new fab collab from ThePerfectPerfect, Ana.Chronos and Bare Bones Vintage. They’ve worked tirelessly the past week to plan and prepare for their new boutique collaboration at the market. Step inside and you will see. It’s showtime here.

Too much got your head spinning? FilmCycle is back with their photo booth to let you snap a pic and remember it all. They’re on to something amazing and cool – peep it everywhere and see it above.
