We’re kicking off our first ever live music series at our Williamsburg market just in time for the holiday season! We’ve got a great lineup of local artists and bands for you to check out in the next few weekends!
Sat, Dec. 6: Outlaw Ritual 2-3pm
This rockin’ duo made a big first impression this summer when they showed up and played an impromptu set (upright bass and all!) outside our Brooklyn market. The crowd went wild and we can’t wait to welcome them back to A&F for another set that’s sure to bring down the house.
Sat, Dec. 13: Ian Murray 2-3pm
Ian Murray is an aspiring jurist who was once an aspiring musician. He still spends his free time writing songs and obsessing about the Irish and American folk canons, British blues, glam rock, heavy psych, proto-punk, and more. Join him for an hour of acoustic meanderings through his own material and the work that inspires him.
Sun, Dec. 14: BroJug 2-3pm
The Brotherhood of the Jug Band Blues, or BroJug, is a Brooklyn-based collective of jug-band, country blues & old-time musicians dedicated to performing Jug Band Music both old & new that reflects not only our bygone rural tradition, but also our contemporary urban lifestyle. Great musicianship, good-time grooves & laid-back fun are hallmarks of BroJug's sound.
Saturday December 20th: The Nightshades 2-3pm
Willy Gantrim will be joined by The Nightshades for a set filled with bues, ragtime, folk and more.
Sunday December 21st: The Melodic Miners 2-3pm
inger-songwriter, guitarist, banjo and harmonica player, kindergarten teacher and South Philadelphia escapee, Lucas has been writing and performing music in New York City for the past 8 years now. He’ll be joined by the rest of the Melodic Miners, a group who’s sound has been likened to that of Keb' Mo, Nick Drake, Phil Ochs, and Cat Stevens.
