Are you always looking for the coolest new food products and trends? Want to be able to give the latest and greatest in the food world to your family and friends? We’ve got you covered.
For one weekend only, #AFinBK is teaming up with the We Could Make That podcast to bring the best of indie food makers to holiday shoppers. On each episode of We Could Make That, host Andrea Wien interviews a small batch, independent food producer to decode their story and get to the heart of how and why they started their business.
Now, Artists & Fleas is bringing the podcast to life. On December 17 and 18, shoppers will have the opportunity to DIY their own gift bags and boxes by filling them with products made by We Could Make That guests. Not only will gifters walk away with a totally unique present, but they’ll also earn cool points for discovering these indie brands before anyone else.
Shoppers can fully customize their gift, adding in premium items like cookbooks and Salt House aprons, or choose from one of seven themed boxes, including “Something Spicy,” packed with Mike’s Hot Honey, Zia Green Chile Co. hatch chiles, Stagg pepper jam, Sir Kensington’s spicy ketchup and Black & Bolyard Aleppo pepper brown butter. Other themed boxes include “Another Culture,” “On-The-Go,” “Everyday Chef,” “Something Sweet” and “A Bite of Naughty.”
“I’m so excited to be bringing this concept into the physical world. The makers all have incredible stories and their products are absolutely fantastic. Not to mention—they make the best gifts!” says Wien.
We Could Make That is a hub for food makers and the people who love them. Online and on the podcast, host Andrea Wien helps to unearth secrets and share stories so listeners learn how to crush their kitchens. www.wecouldmakethat.com
