ABOUT THE ROLE

The Market Greeter is a customer service ace who serves as the first point of contact for shoppers entering the market. They play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience by warmly and enthusiastically greeting shoppers. The Market Greeter will elevate the in-market experience beyond a simple transaction. They ensure shoppers’ initial impressions of Artists & Fleas are positive by providing a fun, welcoming experience as soon as they walk through the doors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Enthusiastically welcome all shoppers, directing them and encouraging conversation to understand what they may be looking for. 
• Offer exceptional customer service at the front of the market, always putting the shopper first.
• Consistently keep the market energy lively & upbeat.
• Genuinely thank every shopper as they exit the market, whether they made a purchase or not.
• Assist shoppers by providing information, answering questions and making recommendations about products, brands and market services.
• Have deep knowledge of the market offerings, merchant mix, etc. to guide shoppers to appropriate merchandise, gift ideas, etc.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the market entrance area. 
• Other duties as assigned.

HOURS / SCHEDULE

This is a P/T hourly position of approximately 15 – 25 hours per week including weekend hours. Starting at $18.50/hour
