How did your business get started?
I began as a fine artist after graduating from Parsons School of Design, doing gallery shows in NYC. I started designing textiles for fabrics and got invited to join a major 7th Ave. designer Albert Nipon as their chief textile designer/accessories designer. I travelled to Europe for fashion and textile shows for about five years. This lead to designing promotional products for corporations, which led me into leather and jewelry design. I have worked at artisan markets for about 15 years, evolving greatly throughout the years.

How do you make your products?
My jewelry is handcraft using metal, wax, antiques, weird things, cast originals with a mold so I can create in various metals. Leathers are riveted and findings are added in various ways.

What inspires your craft?
I am inspired by what I see and feel in the world-spirituality, world events, nature, and history. Just living in NYC fuels me with ideas and visions every day.

What’s your favorite product?
I love the crystal pieces—shiny, sparkly things with great metaphysical energies.

Why do you sell at Artists & Fleas?
I love the community of artists, the great energy of Artists & Fleas in Chelsea Market, the reactions of my customers, and the prosperity.
