- Do I have to pay an entry fee to shop?
Nope! Artists & Fleas is free and open to the public at all market locations.
- What types of payment do the merchants accept?
Most merchants accept credit cards, cash, Venmo or other methods of payment. Artists & Fleas does not dictate the types of payment individual merchants accept.
- What’s the average price point for products sold at Artists & Fleas?
Our merchants carry a variety of merchandise in a fairly wide price range, typically from $10-$500. Price ranges vary by business. On average, shoppers should come prepared to spend between $60-$100 per visit.
- Is there parking available?
Most Artists & Fleas marketplaces are located in areas where street parking is available, though they are high-traffic areas. Parking proximity to the marketplace varies by neighborhood – we suggest taking public transportation whenever possible!
- Is the market wheelchair and stroller accessible?
Yes, all our market locations are situated on the ground floor with interior aisles large enough to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, or other mobility vehicles. In some cases, a market manager may need to assist with implementing our handicap ramps. In the event that a handicap ramp is needed, please call the market location you’ll be visiting and we’ll be ready for you!
- Can I bring my dog?
Furry friends are welcome in our standalone marketplaces including Williamsburg, Soho and Venice. In the event of our locations that are integrated within larger retail environments, like Chelsea Market, we cannot accommodate dogs (but they can still hang outside in front of our fun murals!).
- Will I be able to find my favorite merchants time and time again?
Some merchants sell with us on a long-term (3 months or more) basis while others cycle through at various intervals. Check out website before each visit for the full list of who you’ll find at each location. Keep tabs on your favorites – follow their social channels to see where they’ll be next!
- I got this awesome item, but now I want to buy more of it! Can I find it online?
We recommend that you reach out directly to the merchant you purchased the item from! If you’re having trouble locating their website or contact information, let us know and we’ll help you out.
- Can I return an item I bought in-store?
Since all merchants who sell with us operate their sales independently, Artists & Fleas does not facilitate or field return requests. Please contact the maker you purchased from in the event that you would like a refund.
- Do you sell food at your markets?
Many of our marketplaces host hot and/or prepackaged food & beverage merchants from time to time. To preview the current list of merchants at each location, please reference the market page you intend to visit: Chelsea Market, Williamsburg, Soho, or Venice.
- Do you have public bathrooms?
While our marketplaces don’t have public restrooms available, Market Managers are available to assist in the event of an emergency.
- Are there fitting rooms available?
Yes! All our locations have fitting rooms accessible.
- Do your marketplaces have climate control?
All of our indoor marketplaces have both heating and air conditioning for whatever temperatures the weather rings.
